Teenager GUILTY of Murdering his Grandparents
Do you remember this case?
On Nov. 28, 2001, Christopher was angry with his paternal grandparents because they punished him for an incident on a school bus the previous day.
Christopher told police that he pumped birdshot through his grandfather's open mouth. He shot Joy Pittman in the side of the head. A forensic pathologist testified that both victims were dead before Christopher set a fire that consumed the Pittman's modest home in rural South Carolina.
Christopher's lawyers blamed an adverse reaction to Zoloft for making Christopher manic and psychotic. The defense tried to establish that everything Christopher did, said or failed to do was either misinterpreted, someone else's fault or the result of an adverse reaction to the antidepressant.
Christopher was sentenced to 30 years for each of the killings, to run concurrently.

OK, the kid was pissed that his grandparents where punishing him for getting in trouble on the school bus. Prosecuters say Chris had an "intense dislike for being disciplined." So, what does he do? He WAITS for his grandparents to fall asleep. Then loads his shotgun and "pumped" birdshot through his grandfathers mouth. Then shot is grandmother in the side of the head. Why? Because his granddad paddled him & his grandmother was killed because "she did nothing to stop him."
Apart from the brutal facts of how he planned & killed is grandparents, his fucking legal team blames Zoloft. It wasn't the drug. This was a little fucking punk who was pissed because he was being held accountable for his actions and in turn, committed premeditated murder. I think 30 years is a very light sentence. Hopefully he will get to spend some hard time in a maximum security prison.. Why is it in this country, it is always somebody elses fault, the drugs fault, the parents fault, etc... ?? When you are guily and get caught, stand there like a fucking man and take the punishment... DON'T POINT THE FINGER AT SOMEONE ELSE.
